Meet Dr. Jefcoat
Dr. Jefcoat received her Bachelor of Science degree magna cum laude from Mississippi College and Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry. She then went on to complete her periodontal training, earning a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology and Certificate of Periodontology from Baylor College of Dentistry, Texas A&M University System Health Science Center.
Dr. Jefcoat received extensive training in anesthesiology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, which allows her to offer sedation options to ease any anxiety and stress patients may have about their dental procedures. Dr. Jefcoat has been in private practice in Madison since 2006.
Dr. Jefcoat is Board Certified in the specialty of periodontics which makes her a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Board certification represents the highest recognition of achievement in the field of periodontics and indicates expertise in all aspects of periodontics, including dental implants.
Fanasy Ann Prokop Jefcoat was born and raised in South Louisiana but now makes her home in Madison, Mississippi with her husband, John David Jefcoat. They have five sons, Robbie, Corey, Nathan, Ethan and Whittman, two daughters-in-love, Brooke and Breanna, and three grandsons, Kingston, August and Liam. In her spare time, Dr. Jefcoat enjoys spending time with family, traveling, working in her yard and participating in local and foreign mission trips. Her local mission work includes serving at the Caring Hand Clinic in Madison. She is a member of The Gathering Church in Madison where she serves in several capacities to help the church.
